Tower Foreman

Experienced Tower Forman needed to join a growing team in NC/SC and TN. WAVSYS will provide Tower Foremen with the required tools and equipment in order to successfully perform their assigned tasks. Tower Foremen candidates must possess a good driving history and valid driver’s license, pass a drug test, background screening, and have a verifiable work history.

Tower Forman should be leaders that lead by example, have a positive impact on the team, and can deliver results by motivating the team to safely delivery quality work within the assigned time period. Veterans of the US Armed Forces are encouraged to apply.

Requirements –

• Be able to communicate in a timely fashion both orally and in writing on all project related matters
• Must have 5+ years of experience climbing and working on cellular structures
• Willingness to take a hands on approach in leading their team through demonstration
• PIM, sweep & OTDR certification
• Must have experience with cellular structures/RRU/waveguide/coax/hybrid Fiber/antenna/microwave dish installation
• Must be able to read and understand plumbing diagrams
• Must possess current certification for Comtrain or equivalent in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue (Successful candidates will be re-certified under WAVSYS)
• OSHA 30 certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• RF Awareness certification
• Rigging & capstan winch certified
• Must be highly organized and be able to effectively report verbally and via written reports to the Construction Manager
• Must have experience with completing close out packages within the required timelines
• Must maintain level of excellence in their crew’s quality of work
• May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
• Physically fit, and able to climb
• Be comfortable working outdoors and in all types of weather conditions
