This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description:

Pay Rate: $18 - $24 / hour depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire

Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

Under general direction, verify and maintain accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare items for shipment, receive and check materials delivered from outside vendors for consistency with freight bills, and initiate paperwork on all return items. Perform other related shipping and receiving duties as assigned.

Shipping:

• Determining the method of shipment.
• Shrink wrapping items on pallets.
• Assembling wooden and cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
• Packaging items into containers for shipment taking care to prevent damage in transit.
• Nailing covers on wooden crates and binding container with metal tape.
• Affixes shipping labels, or stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto the crates or containers.
• Posting weights and shipping charges.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure that the shipments meet specifications.
• Operates lifts to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving areas to storage or work area.
• Utilizes sit-down forklift.
• Loads trailers and box trucks with outgoing shipments.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Observes plant safety rules and reports any unsafe condition.

Receiving:

• Receiving all incoming materials and supplies from outside vendors.
• Checking items received against freight bills for consistency and recording all
• discrepancies detected.
• Entering information reflecting type and quantity of material received, the date of receipt, and the department to which it was delivered.
• Deliver materials received to the appropriate departments or individuals in accordance with written instructions.
• Mark items with assigned part number, coordinate with Purchasing regarding
• discrepancies and shortages.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Observes plant safety rules and reports any unsafe condition.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
