Residential Solar Commissioning Technician

Job Description:
Pay Range from $26 - $27 /hr depending on experience per hour plus overtime and medical benefits
Location will be North San Diego / Temecula / Fallbrook / Oceanside / San Marcos / Escondido Area
Field representative performing system activation for newly installed photovoltaic systems in a set region.
This role includes setting up communication between rooftop and ground-level equipment and also troubleshooting systems that fail to be commissioned or are underperforming.
This position involves managing a high volume of residential and multi-family zoned projects.
Working directly with scheduling team, customer care, technical support, internal stakeholders, homeowners, and home builder staff as needed.
Documenting the quality of a system installation is required to ensure commissioning can be done efficiently

1. Commission residential PV systems – Residential and Multi-Family buildings
2. Complete on-site diagnosis of system operation, performance, and productivity
3. Use phone-based applications to collect photographs, input data, and create site-specific reports in real time from job sites
4. Identify, coordinate, and observe work completed by sub-contractors
