This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Solar Services company in the Vandenberg Air Force Base Solar Array

We are looking for a laborer to be responsible for vegetation management at specified solar sites, to include operating an industrial grade mower, performing edging/trimming, and possibly applying spray / weed control as necessary.

Duration: 30 Day with the possibility of extension.

Pay: $17 per hour plus medical benefits

We’d like you to have include stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Apply spray/weed control
• Operation of industrial grade mower
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
• Performing edging/trimming
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must be able to pass background check, and motor vehicle report
