Customer Service Representative

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Solar Services Company in Austin, Texas

Job Description:
Pay Range from $24/hr plus overtime and medical benefits in a W2 Contract to Hire
Shift: M-F 9am CT - 6pm CT (will change after training) (10am CT - 7pm CT, 11am CT - 8pm CT)

The focus of this role is to provide excellent customer service in helping homeowners activate their new home’s solar system.
It is vital for our Interconnection Coordinators to educate homebuyers on the solar activation timeline and obtain the required signed applications so that new home buyers’ have a streamlined experience.
You will be responsible for setting proper expectations with homeowners on the solar that comes with their new home and initiating the solar activation process, which includes collecting the new homeowner’s utility account info and signed utility solar applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate's degree and 4+ years related customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, including strength in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to handle high inbound and outbound call volume
• Comfortable with customer engagement
• Highly organized and able to multi-task on the job

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Salesforce
• Knowledge of solar and leased services
• Desire to learn and improve
• Naturally curious
