Manufacturing Welder
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Mobile, Alabama
Job Description:
Pay Rate: $28 - $35/hr. depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Hour: 6am to 6pm then 6pm to 6am, Two weeks Days and Two weeks Nights Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Welder is responsible for weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to drawings, specifications and other forms of instruction.
Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend and grind component parts.
Detect faulty operation of equipment and materials.
Examine work for defects.
Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Requirements:
High School or GED
Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening
