(Archived) Production Engineer

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company in Houston, TX.

This is a fully remote Production Engineer role that will be utilized for multiple projects of the Company and customers as-needed. The assignment is expected to last between 3-6 months and will start ASAP. The role is 100% remote with some travel to be expected at the start of the assignment and potentially throughout. Travel expenses would be reimbursable.

The top 3-5 skills needed to perform this role are:

1. Has worked for an O&G operator in the past in an engineering capacity, preferably 10+ years.
2. Familiarity with drilling completions, geological/geophysical engineering, forecasting, optimization.
3. Experience with Landmark software is a plus.

Interviews will begin with a phone call and then move to in-person meetings.

This advanced-level role focuses on providing technical expertise and functioning effectively under minimal supervision on project-based work related to reservoir characterization, well engineering, reservoir management, and project management. The engineer must have solid project management skills and be capable of leading multiple project workstreams. They should also be able to actively manage a team with members who have various levels of competence in the relevant technical domains. The engineer must have experience in exploiting expertise and experience in areas above and pursuing innovative approaches; understanding how domain data has been acquired and using cross-discipline workflows to implement best-practice approaches. They should also be able to set project objectives, priorities, and milestones while driving the use of best practices.
