Mechanical Technician (Valves)

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Odessa, Texas

Job Description:
Pay Rate: $22 / hour plus overtime and medical benefits in a W2 Contract to Hire
Hours: 6am - 6pm

- Assembles/dismantles and repairs valve equipment, and assembles frac tree components for field installation.
- Cleans and maintains shop, equipment and tools.
- Responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical or systems.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Consideration will be made for equivalent education/direct work experience to include Valve Technician general assembly and general oilfield product/equipment operating knowledge.
- Hoisting and rigging (shop only)
- Overhead crane
- Forklift
- First aid
- H2S

Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening
