Job Description:
Pay Rate: $22 to $26/hr depending on experience, plus overtime and medical benefits
Second Shift hours: 3:30pm - 12:30am

Mechanical Technician is responsible for following the trainee technical package to be able to minimize electronic and electrical failures in equipment in order to prevent either lost time or poor quality data by ensuring that their assigned equipment is maintained as per Standards and according to the latest specification.
He/she performs preventive maintenance and modifications under technical supervision according to defined schedules.
He/she is aware of the potential risks associated with such maintenance and works in a safe, orderly and efficient manner.
Learns, through organized seminars and personal study, the operational and technical characteristics of electronic equipment, and ensures his/her training is on schedule and accurately recorded.
Keeps current with new Segment electronic equipment and technology and updated maintenance methods.
Promotes the importance of Data and Service Quality within the maintenance community.
Understands and complies with company’s rules and regulations.

Process & Equipment
Ensures all assigned equipment is continually maintained to the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
Performs Quality checks strictly, as per procedure, and according to the defined schedule.
Modifies equipment in a timely manner and only in line with official modification releases.
Proficient in the use of InTouch & Quest.
Records all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately.
Drives their workflow and ensures data entry is accurate and timely.
Submits FeedBack, as needed and reports honestly and accurately at all times.
Understands and helps drive the World Wide Service Quality Plan within the location.
Actively uses InTouch Support both for technical solutions and for knowledge sharing.
