Warehouseman (Shipper/Receiver)

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company working at their base in Katy, TX.

For this role candidates have to be local and have previous warehousing and Forklift experience.

Job Description:
Pay Rate: $17/hr
7AM - 7PM
Forklift experience required
The Logistics Shipper/Receiver works in a support role for Operations. He/She is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and accurate shipping & receiving activities. The Logistics Shipper/Receiver handles shipping and receiving processes during normal business hours and after hours in accordance with the On-Call Schedule. The Logistics Shipper/Receiver handles drilling equipment in accordance with all relevant HSE guidelines and policies, Standards and workflows.

Responsibilities
• Loads and unloads and properly documents incoming and outgoing equipment
• Communicates all tool movements to the appropriate admin and Logistics Coordinator
• Packs, distributes and loads equipment as directed

Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check (you cannot have a felony in the past 10 years, you cannot have more than 2 speeding tickets in the past 3 years, you cannot have DWI in the past 3 years). You will also have to get a full drug screening, including a hair follicle test which goes back up to 6 months for all drugs considered illegal on the federal level.
