Materials Handler
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/ hour or more, depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Current Available Shifts:
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/ hour or more, depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Current Available Shifts:
- Weekday Day: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) with some mandatory OT on Fridays
- Weekday Night: 5pm - 3:30am (Monday - Friday) - $3 shift diff. with some mandatory OT on Friday night - Saturday
All contractors must train on the weekday day shift (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5:30pm) and then will be moved to the night shift during the week or stay on the weekday day shift if that is the shift they were hired for.
Job Summary:
- The Materials Handler is responsible for executing material handling and for movement within the facility in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Issue and transfer parts for production.
- Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience in inventory management.
- Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles
- 3-5 years of forklift experience
