Job Summary:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a nationwide Oil & Gas company in Oklahoma City. We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and industrious individual to become part of our team. The Maintenance Assistant will ensure that equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, while also contributing to asset utilization and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) policies and procedures.
Work under the direct supervision of Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors.
Conduct pre-use inspections on equipment before beginning any job.
Select and prepare the correct tools for each task.
Perform basic assembly and disassembly of oilfield equipment following procedures.
Use basic hand tools, including torque tools; mechanical aptitude is required.
Communicate safety and process improvements throughout the shop.
Support ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and productivity among Maintenance Technicians.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of assembly and testing experience, or strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is required.
