Machinist (EDM Electrical Discharge Machining)
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Houston, Texas
Job Description:
Pay Rate: $26 - $29 / hour depending on experience plus Medical, Dental and Vision benefits under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Hours: 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11pm)
Candidates must have EDM experience (especially big RAM EDM)
Job Summary:
• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location
• Maintain equipment according to procedures, reporting problems or deviations.
• Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels and job requirement.
• Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
• Participate in failure investigations when relevant.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Experience & Exposures:
• Technology or Manufacturing Center
• Production Workflow
• Machining
• MUST HAVE EDM EXPERIENCE (especially big RAM EDM)
