Maintenance Machinist
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil&Gas Services company in Berwick, Louisiana
Job Description:
Pay Rate: $18hr to $22hr depending on experience with full benefits (401K, PTO, Medical, Dental etc.)
Second Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
The Machinist sets up and operates a variety of precision machining tools.
Operate machine tool types under minimal to no supervision:
• CNC HBM ( Horizontal Boring Mill)
• CNC VTL ( Vertical Turning Lathe)
• CNC Lathe
• Manual Drill Press
Knowledgeable in interpretation of prints
Ability to use measuring devices accurately
Assist in rigging when necessary
Work in accordance with the work schedule set forth by the machine shop supervisor, which includes weekends and holidays when deemed necessary
Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to the equipment or personnel
Follow all HSE and Quality processes
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Minimum Job Qualifications :
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1-9 years of machining experience on CNC or manual machines
