Job Description:
- The Laboratory Technician is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable results to customers.
- The Laboratory Technician performs limited routine laboratory tasks with moderate supervision.
- This person will run oil field samples, learns basic troubleshooting of equipment (if applicable), use and maneuver through lab software (LIMS), and be detail oriented when entering lab data.
- Demonstrate ability to work as an integral member of the team.
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of.
- Maintain standard turnaround times and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
- Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain the required safety training.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Able to lift 50lbs (Ocassionally)
- Basic Microsoft Office exp
