Job Description
Inspector
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company rotating to Rosharon, TX.
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 / hour.
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Summary:
• Ability to interpret drawings for purposes of inspection.
• Previous inspection experience
• At least 2 years of dimensional inspection experience and basic computer skills
Job Purpose:
Inspection of products, components or assemblies using basic inspection techniques.
Key Functions:
• Able to read an Engineering print and interpret inspection requirements
• Selection and use of correct inspection tools and gauges to execute a job
• Use of standard hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges and optical comparator
• Dimensional inspection of geometric dimensioning and tolerances GD&T requirements using standard equipment such as micro-height gages, rollers and dial indicators.
Minimum Education:
• Minimum high school or equivalent
• Vocational or trade school preferred
Experience:
• 2-5 years relevant experience in Quality Control.
