Frac Equipment Operator
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Brighton, Colorado
Job Description:
Pay Rate: $18+ / hour depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Rotation: 2 weeks on, 1 week off (12 - 16 hours / day)
Per diem: $25 / day
Class A CDL required without restrictions
Job Summary:
- Assists senior operators and/or performs frac specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc.).
- Performing pre/post job equipment inspections
- Performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment, etc.).
- Completes requisite training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level.
- Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
- Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for the next job.
- Exhibits safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Participates in quality and continuous improvement processes.
- Rig up / rig down of oilfield equipment and iron.
- Testing and operation of fluid pumps.
- 24 hr operations day/night shifts
- Working with pressurized iron pumping fluid.
- Working with and loading chemicals, recording inventory of chems on site.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL with no restrictions
- Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.
- Frac experience required.
