Job Description:
Pay Rate: $24/hr or more, depending on experience with Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Hours: 21 days on /9 days off rotation, 12 hour shifts in the field
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Specialist to install, commission, service, troubleshoot, and repair oilfield equipment at customer wellsites and facilities throughout the Bakken and Williston Basin. Based out of our Minot, ND location, the Field Service Specialist is the primary technical point of contact in the field—ensuring equipment is running reliably, resolving issues quickly, and representing the company professionally to customers. This is a field-based role in a demanding, all-weather environment that rewards strong mechanical aptitude, sound judgment, and a zero-incident safety mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, service, and repair oilfield equipment [e.g., pumps, artificial lift systems, separators, instrumentation, chemical injection, or measurement equipment] at wellsites and production facilities.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and instrumentation issues in the field and implement effective repairs.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, functional tests, and calibrations to keep equipment operating within specification.
Respond to service calls, including after-hours and emergency callouts, and prioritize work to minimize customer downtime.
Complete accurate field service reports, work orders, job logs, and equipment records; document parts used, work performed, and follow-up items.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; technical/trade certificate or associate degree in a mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation field is a plus.
2+ years of field service, maintenance, or oilfield equipment experience (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or instrumentation background preferred).
