Electronic Technician
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company in City of Industry, California
Job Description:
Pay Rate: Open depending on experience plus overtime and medical benefits
Shift: Monday - Friday, 5AM - 1:30PM
• Setup new production test areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc.
• Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles
• Manufacture, assemble, and test electromechanical assemblies according to engineering models, drawings, specifications and written procedures
• Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customer delivery
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
• Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, Mensor gauges, oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, soldering gun, ESD tooling, power supplies, lab instruments etc.
• Solder PCB electrical assemblies
• Diagnose non-functional electronics assemblies independently
• Calibrate and test electromechanical assemblies per engineering procedure independently
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean initiatives
• Learn quickly from mistakes, absorb knowledge from mentors, take ownership, cross-train others and deliver results
• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED
