Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and testing of control valves and related components in Deer Park, TX. This role involves hands-on mechanical work, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and adherence to industry and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly of Becker ball valves, including installation of valve bodies, stems, seals, actuators, and end connections (flanged, threaded, or compression)

• Install packing, gaskets, and instrumentation accessories as needed

• Connect valves using metal tubing methods (e.g., compression fittings or welded joints)

• Locate, comprehend, and use manufacturer installation and operation manuals

• Conduct inspections and perform PMI (Positive Material Identification)

• Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate valves and other equipment according to manufacturer or customer specifications

• Operate diagnostic tools such as Valscope and profilers

• Measure and record critical dimensions in compliance with manufacturer specifications

• Calibrate measurement equipment according to internal quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred, ideally in oil & gas or industrial settings

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and diagrams

• Familiarity with valve systems, tubing connections, and instrumentation

• Skilled in using diagnostic and measurement tools

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

• Willingness to work weekends when required
