Job Description:
Pay Rate: Open depending on experience plus overtime and medical benefits

Responsibilities
• Offer technical support to internal and external clients of the DELFI Cloud Support Solution
• Ensure timely resolution of queries/incidents within SLAs
• Use internally developed APIs via swagger to perform technical operations on cloud resources
• Write playbooks for common procedures
• Communicate effectively issues with process and offer suggestions for improvement
• Schedule maintenance and upgrades with clients
• Escalate issues to L3 and work with both the client and engineering departments to resolve technical problems

Technical Knowledge
• Understanding and appreciation for incident management/incident response/ITIL/change management
• Familiarity with navigating in both azure and google.
• Azure/Google understanding of resource groups, storage accounts, compute engine, quotas, virtual machines and compute engine.
• Windows and Linux administration
• Remote visualization technologies such as RemoteApp and TGX
• Understating of networking, firewalls, security

Nice to have but not essential
• Comfortable with scripting languages (Python/PowerShell)
• knowledge of applications such as Petrel, Tech log etc.
• Understanding of basic geotechnical terms/workflows

Interpersonal and Other Skills
• Can prioritize urgent queries and incidents without impacting SLAs
• Able to communicate technical problems in a non-technical manner
