Cyber Security Engineer

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil&Gas Services company in Houston, Texas

Job Description:
Pay Rate: $110 - $140k/year depending on experience with full benefits (401K, PTO, Medical, Dental etc.)
Hours: 7am - 4pm

- At least 3 years of prior experience in Cyber Security Incident Response function
- Must be able to work flexible hours including early/late shift, weekends, and public holiday
- Effective communication skills
- Must possess excellent work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette
- Keen to continue self-development.

CyberSOC Engineer (Tier 2) is expected to:
- Triage and perform incident response
- Escalation point for Tier 1
- Must be able to research, develop, and communicate solutions to detected security incidents in a timely manner
- Use advanced analysis skills to isolate and diagnose potential threats and anomalous behavior
- Contribution to the Domain Champions' Program
- Mentor T1 analysts
