Job Summary:
• The role of Mechanical / Structural Designer is to support the Engineers and Engineering Manager in providing drawings and equipment BOM as per customer requirements independently.
• The Mechanical / Structural Designer will support the service personnel in solving problems by simulating the problems in drawings.
• The Mechanical / Structural Designer will be able to work on simple Engineering Work Request and comply with all departmental Work Instructions and Engineering Standards.
• The Mechanical / Structural Designer will be responsible for checking and approving drawings / designs; interface communication, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of the mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules meets customer’s requirements and Industrial Standards they produce.
Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules or related environment in similar industry.
• Ability to produce drawings / sketches to illustrate design / ideas.
Computer Skills:
• Mastery knowledge and proficiency in:
• Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• PDF Editor (Adobe, Foxit, or other equivalent)
• Solid Works
• Autodesk AutoCAD
• Navisworks Manager / Freedom
• Operational knowledge in:
• SAP (ERP Tool w/ Engineering Modules and Transactions)
• Autodesk Revit
• Autodesk BIM 360
