Job Description:
This position is responsible for the direct site-level management, oversight, implementation and execution of safe, on-schedule, on budget support and delivery of assigned projects to ensure 100% internal and external customer satisfaction. Establishes, enforces and oversees project specific and corporate safety goals, product and project quality objectives and installation procedures. Maintains working relationship as liaison with client, safety teams, project management teams, site-level customer representatives, internal and external engineering or quality control and products teams, on-site contractors and internal and external supply chains. Directs and monitors field level construction activities on site by driving schedule forward and providing updates to Project Manager and direction to contracted workforce, scheduling delivery updates to supply chains and logistics coordinators, administrative updates and creation of daily logs, project documentation & reporting. May be required to manage multiple trades on a single large-scale project or on multi-site commercial projects ranging in size and contract scope while meeting/maintaining expectations of safety, schedule & quality in equal measured sum.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and collaborative self-starter working well in a team environment as well as working remotely on a project. Preferred individuals will be familiar with current local and national electrical codes and internationally recognized building code standards, industry best practices, basic risk management concepts and have an ability to problem solve proactively by identifying & correcting inefficiencies or schedule/scope gaps or potentially negative impacts to the project before they arise. Prior reach lift/fork lift/scissor lift certification and fall protection training preferred. Superintendent, project management solar industry certifications or industry experience desired.
Must be familiar with standard Construction Management fundamentals by facilitating various methods of project delivery. Must be able to navigate basic software tools such as WebEx, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF & Mark-Up. Must have OSHA 30 training Certificate & First Aid training.
