Job Description:
Pay Rate: $21/hr plus overtime and medical benefits in a W2 Contract to Hire
Shift: M-F, 7:00 AM to 4 PM or 8AM - 5PM
Under general supervision, manages the day to day administrative activity, provides team support, and answers customer inquiries or routes more complex inquiries to appropriate team member for a specific department. Sets up and trains new team members on administrative and operational policies, procedures, and resources; serves as go-to resource for colleagues on application of policies in specific situations or problems. Solves/trouble-shoots administrative and operational problems. Liaises with vendors to ensure vendor products/services are current, functioning properly, and well understood by employees. Assists in creating new and updated departmental standard operating procedures, processes, and services as necessary.
Candidate should be able to keep up with a constant stream of requests, take ownership of these requests, troubleshoot them as necessary, and shepherd each one to completion. Must be fluent in English and have strong computer skills, including basic skills in MS Office products, experience placing purchase requisitions through Ariba, and experience using SAP to request and log services. Familiarity with SAP process for purchases (POs, PRs, GRs), procurement, and timesheet management is highly preferred but not required.
Requires High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years’ experience in an administrative role.
